baptized on 1 Mar 1801 in Lanercost, Cumberland, England. (20) He was a farmer in Kinghill
and Burthinghurst, Cumberland. He married Hannah LENNOX of Lanercost
parish 26 Apr 1828 at Lanercost. (Witnesses were Sarah Martin
and Thomas Martin.) They lived at Kinghill until about 1829, when
they moved to Burthinghurst (both in Burtholme). They had the
following children (with date of baptism at Lanercost): Sarah,
14 Sep 1828; Joseph, 17 May 1830; James, 30 Sep 1831; Margaret,
20 May 1833; John, 7 May 1835; Thomas, 4 Mar 1837.

vi. Hannah MARTIN

baptized on 25 Oct 1806 in Lanercost, Cumberland, England. (23) She married Joseph GRAHAM
of Lanercost parish 3 Nov 1827 at Lanercost. (Witnesses were Sarah
Martin and John Oliver.) They lived at Rowentree Hill. Joseph
was a yeoman farmer. They had the following children (with date
of baptism at Lanercost): Christopher, 12 Sep 1828; Jane, 4 Mar
1830; Ann, 9 Aug 1831; John, 13 Apr 1833; Frances, 28 Jun 1835.
